What the Bible says

about Tithe and

Offering

Giving is not just about meeting the needs of the church, but it is also an act of trust and faith in God's provision. When we give generously and with a cheerful heart, we become partners in the work of the church and share in the blessings that come from investing in God's Kingdom. Through your giving, you can support the various ministries and programs that we offer, as well as help us to meet the needs of our community and share the Gospel message with others.

What is the difference between

Tithe and Offering?

Tithe

Tithes are a set amount that we give to the church periodically, usually 10% of our income. Tithing is a biblical practice that dates back to the Old Testament, where people would give a tenth of their income to the temple. This practice continued into the New Testament, where Jesus affirmed the importance of tithing and giving. Tithing is a way to honor God with our finances and demonstrate our trust in His provision.

Offering

Offerings, on the other hand, are gifts that we give above and beyond our tithes. Offerings are usually given to support a specific ministry or need, such as a building campaign, a missions project, or a local outreach program. Offerings are a way to give back to God in gratitude for His blessings and to support the work of the church in advancing His Kingdom.
